The Speed of Life & How we are Impacted

As I read the first sentence of this article, I realized how much I could relate to everything. I almost felt as if I was being targeted directly because of the accuracy. I'm sitting in class during my break right now, realizing that I never have breakfast, I skim read everything, and I'm always stressed out because it seems like 24 hours a day isn't enough. I also realized that while I don't get enough sleep/eat enough during the day, I always make sure I have time to check my e-mails, text messages, and social media. Although the internet can be addicting and full of entertainment, it can also take a lot of time away from my priorities which should involve improving health and focusing on school.

Even if nothing entertaining is happening in the world, many news outlets will find wasteful gossip to talk about which we click on because we are so used to being subconsciously addicted to technology. Our sleep schedules are deteriorating because we want to know the latest gossip and humans are pulled towards reading about negativity and drama.

Although our generation is used to using technology almost every hour of the day, we must recognize that we can also increase our productivity and increase our efficiency, so that the 'speed of life' does not seem like it is going as fast as it really is.
