When it comes to the use of labels like rioters and terrorists, depending on the media outlet or the views of the person, certain people seem to fall into categories that they don't fall into otherwise. There is a media bias on both sides of this aspect. In terms of popular media, there is a clear bias that white people cannot be considered rioters or terrorists and that they had a problem like depression or they were pushed to do it. If thousands of people walk around with torches, shout hate, and set fire buildings, they are rioters and they are being violent and doing illegal things. They aren't expressing their dissatisfaction in a productive way or using their right to free speech or the right to peacefully assemble.
While I'm aware the minority groups face much more hate speech and inequality in terms of labels being used against them, labels should not be not used when it comes to being afraid of backlash of using a label on a minority group. If there are people that fall into the category of being a rioter or a terrorist, whether they are a majority or minority group, they should be called as such.
We shouldn't be afraid to use a label like rioter or terrorist, but we also shouldn't use it frivolously against certain groups either.

If the dictionary says this, then these are the kind of people that should be called "terrorist". Race doesn't matter. Gender doesn't matter. Political views don't matter. The only thing that SHOULD matter is the actions taken by the person.
