Privacy? That’s still a thing?!?!
I think this is a double-edged sword
kind of issue. I really do think that in general most people do not really care
about privacy and security when it comes to their own personal data and here’s
why; WIFI. WIFI has changed the way we use the Internet, protect our identities,
and save passwords. When we use unsecured WIFI, it’s like leaving the window
open at night; we are inviting criminals or really just anyone to get into our
computer and retrieve our data. How do we share what we want to share without
being penalized digitally for it? I care about my privacy but I also know that
it will be breeched if I use unsecured WIFI connections; we make these choices,
hopefully, knowing the pros and cons.
What a creepy way to get to know
someone. Most people just troll Facebook or other social media outlets or even
post on missed connections on craigslist, but this takes it to another level.
Not only is your self-image compromised but also a part of your privacy is a
well. In retrospect it is kind of cool to find literally any person you meet in
real life on social media, but I think its falls under cheating. I mean some of
these people look completely different in real life vs. on social media.
