Social Media and Well Being
In the article " Will Facebook make you sad? Depends on how you use it" makes a interesting point between the difference of passively using social media and using social media with attention. These differences can have an effect on your mood. Social Media platforms are filled with information, everyone's content is competing for your attention. If a user has intentions on how they spend their time using social media it starts to filter content that you are interested in engaging with. I feel with a passive user they are more vulnerable to get lost in the content and have their mood be open to alterations.
