 As individuals scrolling through Social Media we tend to pay attention to things that are only in line with our beliefs and values especially ONLINE because the things that are online can easily surface and hit the air and can for awhile stay in these social media data bases, so people can always go back and see what was said.Things that are said on the web can be anonymous as well so everything that is being said doesn't have to be said by the person you are in real life, but it can be said by the person you are on the media. For an example cat fishing doesn't have to be a person physical appearance, but it could be lying about their lifestyle, opinions and beliefs.
