Terrorism Definition

    The events that transpired on September 11 and with what happened in Las Vegas are very sad. The definition of terrorism according to many websites say about the same which is “the unlawful use or threat of violence especially against the state or the public as a politically motivated means of attack or coercion”. With the key words being politically motivated. What happened on 9/11 is considered a terrorist attack because the terrorists that hijacked the planes had a political aim. Not much has been said about the Las Vegas shooter however it does not seem that he had a political aim. I know what happen for both events is horrible and I feel really bad for the families of the victims. I do not think it’s just to label something a terrorist attack when it really was just a crazy man with a bunch of weapons compared to ISIS who is literally trying to mess with everyone based on religious and political beliefs.
