I found the readings for this week really interesting, especially the article about the brain reset button because i can totally relate. Sometimes we get so carried away with our busy lives and schedule that we forget to take care of ourselves properly. The brain can get overwhelmed with all our activities when it is preoccupied with work/school most of the time. Taking a break is always helpful and allows the mind to focus more. Naps especially, reduce fatigue and stress. I am a very big fan of taking naps, even if it’s a 5-10 minutes nap, i feel a lot better when i wake up. Not everyone likes to take naps though, some people say they wake up more tired than they were before they took a nap. The brain definitely deserves rest too like because when the brain is overworked or tired, we start to lose focus and concentration.
Personally, naps make me feel better no matter how short it is. It’s ok to take a break and relax sometimes, not just to take a nap but to relax as well.
